'Barry M - All Night Long - Full Coverage Foundation' - Review
Hello Readers,
Welcome back to another blog post. Today I thought I would go back to another foundation review. I feel like I haven't done a foundation review in quite a while. I have tried many foundations out these past weeks, but one has really caught my attention. It's the 'Barry M - All Night Long - Fill Coverage Foundation'. Let's get into the review to see my thoughts and opinions.
This foundation was first released as a foundation stick. This then led to them creating a liquid foundation. It comes in 24 shades which for a drug store foundation is pretty good (I use the lightest shade which I will discuss in more detail further on). The price for this foundation is £7.99, very affordable and a great price for the amount of product that you get, which contains 30ml of foundation. 'All Night Long' has a pump applicator. It is also Vegan friendly and cruelty free. The foundation has high claims of being full coverage, and lasts all night long. So far ticking all the right boxes.
The formula itself is very creamy. Its not too tick and not too runny, which I like for a liquid foundation. It blends onto the skin very effortlessly. I prefer to use a brush with this foundation as I feel it glides onto the face more evenly, and is very blendable. 'All Night Long' contains Vitamin E and anti-oxidizing fruit extracts which leave the skin feeling great underneath, and giving you a healthy look.
Now for my negatives about this foundation. I actually don't have that many, all in all this is a good foundation. It worked perfectly for my oily skin, it has a good shade range, the price of £7.99 is great, the product amount is great, the formula has good skin care benefits. It is only the coverage that was my negative point. I don't feel for me, that this was a full coverage foundation. As I mentioned before it is more light-medium coverage. Another negative that I have with this foundation, depending on the type of primer that I use for example, when I used the 'Barry M - Unicorn Primer Drops - Beauty Elixir' (click on the name to see the previous blog post of this product) it did cause the foundation to sink into my pores a little bit, which was kind of annoying. But I have found away to not make that happen. This is by applying a pore primer first and then applying the 'Beauty Elixir'.
To finalize this post today, I would recommend this foundation for you to try. For the price it is worth investing in. It gives you a great 'my skin, but better' feel. It keeps the skin looking fresh and gives a healthy glow. The scent of the foundation smells like it is from a more higher end brand. The formula is very lightweight and very blendable. It is personally a must in your collection.

Let's discuss the coverage. I really did like this foundation and what it did to my skin. It gave me a look of 'my skin but better' finish. I would say that this foundation is not full coverage. It is buildable. But using 2-3 pumps gave quite a light-medium coverage. Adding 4-5 pumps gave me more of a medium finish. Personally I wouldn't add anymore pumps. I mainly stick with 2-3. Is it full coverage? Not really.

'All Night Long' has a really lovely scent. It's not too over powering, but there is quite a subtle fragrance. I would say it is quite floral, but don't let that put you off as again it is only subtle. It's not something you can instantly smell.
Once the foundation dries, I would say it dries down to a matte finish. It's very breathable on the skin, so it doesn't completely dry out your face. I would suggest only using a little bit of powder to set it down. You don't need that much powder as because this is a lightweight foundation, it sits on the skin beautifully.
One claim that this foundation does give is an 'All Night Long' foundation. This I could not agree with more. I did a wear test of this foundation for about 8 hours, and it lasted very well. For my oily skin I was actually surprised how well it worked. In some areas it did break off a bit such as at the end of my noise and on my forehead, but this happens on whatever foundation I use.

Onto the shade range. I feel that lately 'Barry M' are really stepping up in the drug store. The brand have been mainly known for their nail polish, but lately their make up has been pretty good quality. They have 24 shades of this foundation. Looking on their website, I think their 24 shades are very diverse. I use the shade Milk. This is the lightest shade in the foundation. Personally, (and this is my fault), I may have picked up one that maybe too light for my skin. But I can work with it. I wish 'Barry M' had a guide of which foundation would work best for skin complexion. For example telling me which foundation would be best for my undertone.
